How to turn down a job offer, but keep the door open for the future?

Be upfront, honest and use your gratitud and education. There’s nothing wrong by turning down something you’re not interested at the moment.

Mr/Ms Offer, thank you so much for considering me out of so many people for such an important role! I’m very humble and don’t know how to express my gratitud. However, based on my current work circumstances (neutral) and other personal factors, I won’t be able to accept the opportunity at the moment. I appreciate the consideration and hope to be considered with another potential opportunity in the near future.

Moving to New York soon. I need help with the location. I would like to spend no more than 3K, and have a 1bedroom with no roaches. Ideally a condo with views, but that might be too much for my budget. Is it possible to find something like that in Tribeca or close? I feel Hell's Kitchen or maybe Chelsea are my only options. What do you think?

I have 3 YOE as a Software Developer. I currently work as a React/Node developer making 87k per year (I know that is pretty low, my manager will admit it) He has made it clear that I am the most skilled developer on the team, and I am getting promoted to Senior Dev. I would like to know what I should be shooting to make? I really like my job and ideally don't want to move companies, but would like some realistic expectations for what I should be earning.

I accepted a 95k systems engineer role in VA with KBR and is currently going thru a clearance.(MAY START DATE)
Northrop offers me 92k w/ 3k sign on which is 30 min from home in MD for an associate systems role. They also want to give me a clearance but it will start as an interim so I can work sooner than may. MY DILEMMA: Kbr states that they know I need money now so I can accept an offer with Northrop to see if I like it until may.BUT can I have 2 security clearances running at the same time?

Additional Posts in Finance Exit Opportunities

I’m asking to get my notice period waived. I have a 30 day notice period per the employment agreement I signed, but it says they can waive it at any time after I gave notice. Im not going to a competitor or even the same industry. How likely is for my current firm to allow this?

Just received an offer from citi for a credit risk associate role. There’s no mention of a set bonus range but a mention of “discretionary incentive and retention award”. Is it something standard? Never worked at a BB so don’t know the norm. Thoughts/guidance? Thanks in advance

I desperately need help/guidance from someone, I tried going to some therapists but they just emphasize antidepressants.

Below are my thoughts rn: Man, I’m 28 and such a bum. I work a job I hate, I have no social circle. I have never had a gf. All these things are so challenging because I’m autistic. I can’t change that. What’s the point of living when society treats ppl like me like I don’t matter. Maybe I should just take a bunch of sleeping pills so I don’t have to deal with life anymore.

Looking to relocate to Boston (fiance grew up there and wants to settle down around family). Sadly I dont have much of a network up there. Does anyone know of current searches?

Been with my current company 5 years now. I run my own team but have a micromanaging boss who likes to create chaos for me. He also exhibits stalker like behavior by looking up my family online (addresses, emails, phone numbers, FB/Twitter accounts, you name it) and driving by my house and commenting on things I was doing during the weekend or after work. I am fed up with it and am starting to apply elsewhere. I don’t think I’ll be able to get the same total comp though. More in comments..
