Making money in hopes it brings you freedom to make a better choice tomorrow.
There’s an argument to be made that you could make the better choice today and worry about money part tomorrow instead.
Alternatively practice mindful meditation, and see if you can find a way to convince yourself that work really is your purpose and you can build a better working world together with your company. It’s a type of helpful self deception that goes a really long way if you can get there.
I, for one, have successfully convinced myself that I no longer wish to be an entrepreneur and instead am an “intrapreneur” working for the benefit of EY and the world at large, from the comfort of a wfh salary and a benefits package.
We all find our reasons I suppose. Mine turned out to be that I’m quite risk averse and despite a heavily creative mindset am for some reason fairly inflexible to change.
Edit: I am now and still also questioning whether this is the right path… alas
To be fair being an entrepreneur seems like a huge trap
You’re not lost. I didn’t even know what I wanted to do when I was 25. I suggest taking a yoga or kickboxing class to get in the right state of mind. Don’t worry you’ll find your way soon.

How old are you?
You’re not lost then, you’re just very early in the process. You could do nothing/anything for the next 5 years and still have 50-70 years left to live.
