Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

Depends on what kind of person you are. If you are extremely organized and motivated with a tech head and processes in place, you may want to try an independent shop or go RIA. If you foresee needing some structure and support, help with technology and compliance to be sure you keep your nose clean, then Pru or EJ is probably best. If you don’t already have an idea of clients and assets, you may want to consider a bank advisor like Chase Wealth Mgmt or a smaller bank. I would talk with several (bank, wire, Indy, RIA) and find out how they support their FA’s and which you feel fits you best You would do well to talk with some aging FA’s about partnering for awhile and then taking over their business and working out a sunset deal.
What state are you in?
NY
I would look at Mutual of Omaha they have been around almost 100 years set you up for success with a guarantee while you build your book of business. Also they are non captive so you can offer whatever is best for your clients and also their is not limit on renewals you get renewals as long as you service that client.
Join an independent BD - RIA. There are more opportunities all around. EJ, good reputation, small town feel and personalization reflected in smaller communities and less so in major cities. PRU - likely trains you to be a product pusher rather than a program designer with holistic wealth management solutions.
