I'm looking for a job... Please help...
This may not be the best forum for it but thought I’d give it a try!
Selling 2 tickets to SIX, the musical for Wed, 05/25 at 7:30 pm. Great seats in Row C of Dress Circle Center. Had to go out of town for work and can’t make the show.
Originally paid $116 each (including taxes and fees). Willing to sell both for $200 or the best offer.

It is completely possible. They first 11.5 years of my career I did civil collections, wills, trusts, and estates and then got into medical malpractice. You just need to highlight what skills you have that are transferable and make them stand out.

You should be fine! If your current firm has other practice groups, trying reaching out to see if they need some assistance on any projects so you can get some experience in your current firm.
It’s not hard to learn new areas if your attorneys are willing to work with you. I usually get to do something new occasionally and sometimes my attorney doesn’t know what to do either and we just do it by trial and error
Also I’ve never been at a firm less than four years. It’s just not a good look imo.
I’m trying to break into real estate (residential closings) but it seems impossible. Everyone wants 5 years of real estate experience.
I’m pretty sure you could do it. Zone in on what type of law you want to do; Promote your key skills, brush up on others you may have - aren’t proficient in - it might need in new field and go get’em!
