Husband is a dual US/Canadian citizen and we’re living in the US. Thinking about emigrating to BC (I went to grad school in Vancouver). I know he can just apply for a job and work immediately, but trying to figure out the best/quickest way for me to get a work permit. Should I move there with him and immediately apply for PR and a work permit through spousal sponsorship? Or should I start looking for jobs before we move and try to get a work permit via that route?

i had my canadian pr last year but didn’t do the landing since covid hit. the deadline passed of course and the immigration office reached out to check if i’m still interested and if so i should re-do a medical. assuming my medical goes through and my pr is processed and accepted again, does anyone know if landing is still a thing? my original plan was to do a landing and move after 2 years. is this still possible or does canada basically want you to move in a year or so after pr is granted?
