My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I have 4.3 YOE currently and I was offered Engr II - Full Stack position in VDSI. But after doing some research it seems Engr II is usually for YOE between 2 and 4. Is this correct? Will there be a problem for me if I take up this position with my YOE?
Since I am a lateral entry, I think promotion to Engr III also would take a lot of time.

I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after. I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

I've been struck with the feeling my company, a small Fintech, prioritize the +8y/o experienced professionals rather than the hard working ones. Nothing new here, the ambient seems ok on the surface but everyone tries to steal your job and important tasks.

Thing is, my career has mainly been in fashion which I am trying to move away from, to get into the tech space. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on?
