I-485 was filed back in dec 2020. Everything was delayed due to covid and the documents were transferred to another USCIS office in 2022. Its been more than 2.5 years that the case is still in processing. Does anyone know what can be done? I have tried calling USCIS but all they tell is that it is under processing. Attaching my case status. My priority date was in April 2020.

Abandoning Green Card
Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again.
