Thinking of quitting without anything lined up. Posting it here only bc I’m on a visa. Not gonna glorify it since I’m quitting only bc I don’t like the nature of my job or the environment. Have no grand big things planned ahead. I’m fine with leaving the country. Has anyone been through this and have any advise?

Creatives who left for tech. What is it exactly that you do now? Is it still writing or art directing? Or a different creative role? Hearing about people leaving for tech so I want to know what it means exactly aside from the benefits.

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

Is it possible to transfer from audit 8 months in to FDD considering this market? I feel undervalued and want to contribute more…

Split on the value of MBA. I am a Big4 Consulting Manager, (5 YOE, 2 of those at Manager level). I’ve progressed fast without MBA to this point, and MBA hires come in to my firm as Seniors which is below my level (appreciate they get paid more). I want to transition to industry. For H1B stamping, while there are many cases of admin processing, which take 2-4 months, have there been any cases of Denial after that or do most cases come out of admin processing with approval?
