Hi Fishes
In spite of having applied for many jobs at Citi (including the referrals), I have not got any calls from Citi.
I do not understand what's wrong with my profile ! I do get calls from other Captives but not from the Citi.
Are there any hacks to get calls from Citi ? Citi @citibank

I would let your manager know and then email the client and admit/ acknowledge the email was not intended for them, apologize, and bring up the frustration/ situation and ask if you can discuss further on a call.
^^ all of this. Get ahead of it asap.
I came super close to accidentally doing this once. The advice that’s already being given is all solid… I’ll only add that after my close call I went into the email settings and set the “send delay” for :30 seconds.
That way it sits in the outbox on a delay before it goes; allowing time to call it back.
Wishing you luck OP. Don’t beat yourself up though. Seriously. We’re all human and accidents happen.
*the client no doubt needed to hear it anyway.
I've done something similar before except the feedback was about my manager and I sent it to my manager. I used it as an opportunity to have a difficult conversation and they were receptive to the feedback. It was awkward and uncomfortable at first but it was good to clear the air. Hopefully, if you get in front of it, the client will be open to discuss how you can work better together instead of firing you. Good luck 🍀
Is the client local? Set up a lunch to explain exactly what you mean. That’s the problem with email and text; comments can easily be misconstrued. On second thought, make that after work drinks, and dinner. If you play your cards right, you make a needed friend, and a confidant, and if you have any brilliant ideas for the account, that wouldn’t hurt either. That’s what I would do. Be sure to update your manager beforehand. Going behind their backs is the last thing you want to do, and you would probably get fired for that, not your email. If you can do it face to face, do it. Best way to clear the air, good food and drink.
I hear bricklaying pays well these days, closely followed by Correctional Officer. For god sakes, if you haven't already reached out to the client, do so before your head hits the pillow this evening. Since it was an e-mail that got you into this mess, choose another means of communication - like a good 'ole phone call - to initiate your mea culpas.
