What do they have you doing at your position? We are hiring entry level specialists!
Our manager is hard to work with, our pay is below market and senior management is very stingy with benefits and accommodations (such as remote work)
Our HR business partner drives 90 minutes each way to be in the office
I understand where you are coming from. Before I started at my current company, I was working in positions where I wasn’t given the opportunity to do what I was hired to do. This has since changed after starting at my current job. If you are still looking for a position, we are looking for a partner campaign & event specialist. Feel free to reach out to me if your interested!
That is basically why I am looking to move on. Would love to explore opportunities.
Passion projects can be the best campaigns to showcase in your portfolio and interviews to demonstrate your experience and skills.
That was the reason why I did that in the first place. But recently, interviews have asked me specifically to exclude personal projects and focus on my professional experiences.
Hi there,

Thank you,
Geraldine Salas-Rivero
Interesting. I read your main point as wanting to figure out how to interview without having led campaigns. Seems like many also understood this similarly.
I personally think you can dance around the direct experience and talk about what you have contributed. However, might be best to rephrase your question for better responses.
Could you look for a job that’s just organic content versus paid? Social media manager or community manager role—or do you want to do paid social campaigns?
I have not managed to find such opportunities close to my location or remote. I am passionate about content marketing and would love to land a content role
What would you like to focus on in your next role?
Knowing that will help anyone here potentially looking to hire.
My team will likely have a role coming open in a few weeks. It'll be working with a set of customers to help them meet their marketing goals, focused on the MarTech products they've bought from us. Think somewhere between Customer Success and agency. More details are still being ironed out, but if anyone reading this is interested please PM me.
My passion is content marketing for B2B and that's what I hope to gain experience in.
Sorry everyone, I do not have direct messages available to me yet
Not sure why you’d need campaign experience for content marketing. Are you applying for content jobs atm?
