Super basic tax question, just wanted to confirm my understanding. If I purchased both stocks A and B in Oct 2020 and then I sell both of them tomorrow, which stock A has a loss of $500 and stock B has a gain of $400, for tax purposes, I’ll net these 2 loss/gain together and will have a short term capital loss? And nothing from this transaction will be taxable for this year if I don’t sell any other stocks. Is that correct?
