I had my tech F2F round today and I prepared very well on both my domain and tech perspective. But the interview was very simple and unexpected questions came up. Though I answered them I didn’t find a good vibe in the interview!!

I feel that I have not been interviewed properly to show all my skills. Totally there were only 8 ques asked along with Tell me about yourself!

Is it a sign of interviewer not interested to proceed further from initial sets of answer I gave?pls help

Have an interview for an enterprise systems analyst role. Recruiter said they’re looking for someone who knows sql and can write custom reports using sql. My experience with sql is basically data validation, comparing against what’s on a report on a dashboard vs what’s in the database. Any tips to learn between now and Thursday or am I SOL?

Just accepted a job as Social Worker at a 56 bed SNF. Was told at interview that working hours were 8:00-4:30. Now finding out that the social worker normally works 8am-7:30pm regularly. She also doesn’t take lunches. Just wondering if this is the norm or will I be able to adjust some things and work normal hours after she leaves?

So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

The pay should within my expectations, but I am unsure about the company and the team.

Just that the process was way too easy so quick. I do not even know the hiring manager.

At what point is the candidate’s information given out to the potential employer

Is it only after the staffing firm gets the payment
After a interview

Or is the full resume given out with their contact info
But they sign a non contact agreement ?

My little sister got engaged today. She’s so in love and she truly found her soulmate. I’m so happy for her but I can’t help but feel bad for me. She’s always been an over achiever and has always “beat” me in everything (job, looks, love, social life etc). She and her fiancé are moving into a nice new condo in an amazing city while I’m single and stuck with my parents because I got laid off during Covid. I am on day 9 of my egg freezing journey and absolutely feeling all associated emotions. I am almost 35, still single, and at the height of my big law career.
