I am currently in Tax Technology and was hoping to make a switch to FDD. Given the current market conditions and my overall lack of insight into the line of work, I was hoping for some knowledge and tips:

1) how's the current state of affairs in FDD? Has work slowed down?
2) What would the pay structure look like for a senior consultant?
3) Reference material to look into prepping for FDD?
4) Is there a line of preference over buy side vs sell side?

I recived mail from Deloitte USI HR requesting my last 3 months pay slips and filled CTC data sheet and Aadhar, PAN. Does this mean i got through or selected ? I didn't recieve any formal communication whether i am selected or not.

Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.

I feel like a failure as a parent at times - my youngest daughter is extremely anxious about middle school and in the first week has already had two emotional breakdowns. She is so worried about people picking on her and not having friends. I have reached out to the counselor and principal with hopes to get her some support in school, but I can’t do anything to make it better. I and two other workers were offered the same position at the same time. I was offered 23 an hour while the other was offered 24. Can I renegotiate?
