I am interested in hearing from current and FORMER employees either positive or negative feedback relating to the Disability Leave Services Team. Do you feel your rights were violated in anyway? Were you treated with respect? Were you forced into a leave you did not apply for?
I am in a relationship for 3.5 years now. .
We both love each other. Used to enjoy the company emotionally and physically. We took it bit slow as it was 1st relationship for both of us.
For initial years we tried various stuff on bed and we both enjoyed it thoroughly.
And finally last year after 2-2.5 years of dating when we were comfortable enough, we decided to have sex.
But, after many unsuccessful attempts we discover that she might have medical condition vaginismus

Will schools be in person this fall? I heard nightmare stories of Zoom University at various top schools from alumni.... i feel like these schools are so ill prepared for anything digital except CMU and other online programs
Anyone has experience negotiating a medical bill with MGH. I got some blood work done and was sent a bill of 1800. The bill was 2700 but negotiated rate with my insurance is 1800. I got the exact same blood work done in NC 2 years back and it cost me <200. My insurance said i should have gone to labcorp. I am new to Boston and didn't know this. MGH says prices are higher as we are a teaching hospital. It's just open loot and does not make sense. Anyone dealt with a similar situation.

I am so sick and fed up with some of the older clients at my job. I know it's my responsibility to take care of them, but they're just so sexist sometimes.
How do you handle it when your kid can’t go to school/daycare? Daycare options in my area are extremely limited, and the one are in is pretty good. They are very strict about kids not being there when they are sick, which I appreciate and mostly agree with. Except that the rules are along the lines of if your kid has a temperature over 100, they cannot come in until they’ve been under 100 for 72 hours. According to every doctor I’ve spoke to, 100 isn’t even considered a fever. (See rest below)
For parents with school-age kiddos (kindergarten up), what do you do for childcare? Thinking about giving up our nanny, but worried about juggling days off, sick days, and summer break.
Anyone have advice on getting medical expert witnesses? In NC if anyone practices here. None of my client’s doctor will call us back.
Has anyone taken a job with great medical benefits but no dental or vision coverage? Did you find coverage on your own?
Am I crazy for strongly considering doing this? My Mom decided to sell her house and move down here near me in a tier 2 city in terms of cost. Housing options for just herself with her medical conditions just don't see very great. So we found a new home builder in an amazing location with huge lot sizes that also offer "multi-generational" extensions so my Mom can have her own space and I can still have some degree of separation.
The catch is I'll need to sell my house too...cont
How is everyone doing with vaccines? I just started a temp job vaccinating, and I gave over 90 shots in 8.5 hours today. I’m tired, and already sick of saying “move your arm to help with soreness and drink lots of water to help with flu like side effects”, LOL.
For the exit opps to industry, could you please provide your opinion when comparing Pharmas vs. medical devices? Thanks!

Hello, I’m looking for some job referrals. Currently I’m working in the DME (durable medical equipment) field (customer service) alot of phone time and they are really pushing back on wfm options. I have 3 small kids, so I really need flexibility, but I also need to work FT. At this time, I am not choosing a specific career because as previously mentioned, I have 3 small kids and I have not had the opportunity to choose what I like to do.
Love that I can actually call out sick from work now that I’m in house (vs before in big law)!
Does anyone have job accommodations for a disability and changed jobs? At what point of the interview process should I inform the employer of the accommodations? After accepting the offer? My concern is that the accommodations will reflect negatively on my candidacy (illegal, but it happens).
I am a medical device professional, currently working in Capgemini. My expertise is in the Quality & Regulatory Affairs domain. I aspire to join product based companies like Philips, Siemens, Baxter, Medtronic and the likes. If anyone of you are working in these companies, please refer. Much Thanks !!
Interviewing with potential employer for weeks now, have realized I dont want the job (not the right culture fit + didnt vibe with a sr person in interview). How do I tell them w/o seeming like a jerk
Should I take a test waiver for Georgetown PT with a 600 score if I have a 3.8 GPA from an above average state school in Finance & Information Systems and will have 4 YOE when applying - 1Tech at a Bank, 1 Consulting, 2 Corp Strat at a smaller healthcare co (current). 600 was my first try so I still have time to get it up as well.
Have an interview with GCP coming up for customer engineer, any tips/resources to prepare, esp for RRK? thanks!
Anyone working in Wipro for apple account?
Favorite undershirt for dress shirts? I run hot so most t shirts feel too thick underneath.
Have $13k to invest across some/all of these. Would love to get your thoughts on the following:
$SE, $TCNNF, $MTTR, $U, $NCNO
Low billable, low pressure work in patent lit, tech trans or privacy law? Slowly realizing that as my boys get older, the money isn’t worth what I’m missing out on. Currently a patent litigation associate with lots of hearing, depo and trial experience (I’ve appeared on my own at hearings/depos) at a well respected firm. Have my CIPM and CIPP/US /E and /C. Just feeling the burn out; 2000 hours of billables a year just isn’t sustainable for me long term. Money isn’t a huge issue.
I have a background in Mechanial Engineering and have worked in variety of manufacturing companies. Apart from manufacturing I have understanding of Architectural drawings and Building sciences. I am interested in working for a firm like McKinsey and company or BCG. Is it possible?? What’s the best way to apply? If someone is already working please guide me further I am really confused at the moment.
Do many jobs out there have a base salary of 400K+? It seems like most jobs with really high TC (FAANG, PE/HF, VC, etc) have a large component of the pay that is bonus/stock based, with base salary plateauing beyond 200K
Thoughts on Huron vs. Grant Thornton? If you had the choice to work for either, which would you choose?
Are there any remote jobs left out there? I like my job but I’m exhausted from commuting. Interested in customer service and supply chain, 10 years of experience in sales and CS, 1 year in a management role. Looking for $100k minimum
Every year I say I am not going to spend a ton on my kids’ birthday parties. I have failed yet again. Why are birthday parties so damn expensive!?!
I felt confused when I saw Buttigieg’s name on the speaker list at DNC convention and no name of Yang anywhere. (Pointing PB out because he was mayor of South Bend, elected with very few votes). The speaker list was long.. so many people yet not a single Asian American was there. I was so confused. And some people said Asians are not in their head because Asians do not fit their box. I am glad he said something about it and got added but feel not so great he was omitted initially.. meh 🙄
I have a small chunk of money ($40k), should I take advantage of Calis first time home buyer programs and buy a house? 31 y/o, living in LA.
I feel like I haven’t made great client work in 2 years. Every client either Frankenstein’s a good idea to death or doesnt want to pay for good work.
I’ve jumped around a few times in the last few years and I feel like jumping ship again isn’t a good look. Or does it legit not matter based on how things are going with the great resignation and all?
Any real estate salesperson available for a quick chat. I just got my salesperson license(MA) and wanted to speak with someone who has gone through the same process to get a better idea on how to kick start my career in RE.

My partner threatened to leave me if I don't stop working because I'm completely overtaxed and have become a nightmare to be around, and we don't need the money. This is obvious a terrible thing for them to say, but it was in the moment and they expressed they didn't mean it as a real threat afterwards. Other than telling me they should go to therapy, should I be considering taking time off? I love my job and sometimes I think it's actually the only thing that's providing a modicum of sanity.
For an implementation manager role, what percentage range over the original offer is optimal? I’m thinking of asking for 20% more…
Thanks for your help.
What are some things you guys wish you knew before you started your NetSuite implementation?
I’m at a small company that’s sort of becoming medium sized, and a new exec pushing to quickly implement NetSuite and I just want to make sure we’re not getting in over our heads, he’s trying to get this done within two months
We currently use Salesforce, quick books, and excel, we’ll be consolidating a lot of accounting and finance stuff into netsuite and integrating it with Salesforce
How do you deal with an ineffective, passive manager?
My team gained a new SOC Manager in February and to this day he’s become notorious for passing tasks down to our lead and analyst and doesn’t understand the systems we use nor does he make an effort to learn. There’s a task that I took on prior to him going(which is a manager level task) and when this manager joined the team he made an attempt for me to permanently take on the task and I immediately pushed back. My coworkers and I racked our
When FAANG companies are hiring for UX Design positions do they count all of your general design YOE or only the YOE in a UX role ?
Currently working as a software engineer in NYC at a big tech company. Got an offer at Disney Streaming Services which I’m super excited about. I was wondering if anyone can speak to the work/life balance, culture, and general experience working there. Thanks :)

Has anyone encountered ageism? How have you dealt with it? I am finding it a real barrier to a new job
It's been 4month with the team with no manager. I recently joined the organization and the team I am part of is headed by a lead and one analyst.
So being a new member as Sr.Data Analyst I sometimes have to report to analyst. Considering the fact that he has been part of the team for past 1 year and sometimes he sounds like lead as he is leading some project.
On other hand my manager is continuously asking me take lead in project and try to reduce dependency on that analyst.
How do you pronounce "trie"?
