I am just starting to explore the application process for next year (2025) and have been joining a lot of the school info sessions hosted by GSPC. A lot of them mention being on boards (like a nonprofit?) or extracurriculars outside of work. How necessary is that stuff? Can any GSAPers provide examples of what that looked like for you? I am loosely involved in volunteer work but am doubtful that a nonprofit would want a 24 yo with 2 years of work experience on their Board of directors.
