I am lost I was hired to do something that I have no control over due to micro managing and it changing constantly. I had an attendance issue due to my son being hospitalized I was given a verbal warning even with proof and now our HR person doesnt ever respond and no one tries to elaborate on items with due dates too far out at a time. Everyone is bring really vague about everything. Im in my 6 month probationary period am I about to get fired? Will provide more in comments

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.

Any advice for a first time manager ?

The clinical director is not usually on site, since we have multiple locations, and she is the CD for the entire company.
