I am struggling to get a single interview! I have never had an issue with employers knocking down my door, but since September 2025 I haven't had a single one call me. I've been receiving mass declines and I apply for 100s of jobs a week! I come from upper Retail Management from store Leader to District Manager and NO ONE is calling me. What am I doing wrong?

What sort of roles are you applying to?

I am sorry to hear that although you are not alone as there are thousands of people out of work and many more soon to be laid off as the global economy and job market are bad and, in some regards, worse than in 2020 as well as the Great Recession.
First you might want to have your resume looked at to make sure it can get through the AI / ATS that companies use to screen out applicants, apply to both job boards and directly to company websites, network, and even check out your local Workforce / Career force Center.
If you are trying to pivot into a Data Entry role yet have retail management experience and roles, that could be playing a big part in your rejections as instead of showing career progression you are showing career degression plus if you are submitting to 100s of jobs a week that shows you are just "spraying and praying".
Are you customizing your resumes to fit the roles and industries you are applying to or just sending out one general resume?
On Saturday, I ended up revamping my resume (I have been getting some results previously, but I wanted to try get more) and have one for financial / insurance industry roles and then another for Customer Service roles plus cut down from 3 pages to only 2 (recruiters prefer 1–2-page resumes).
I do like how Glassdoor shows how long the post has been posted for although I still find myself going out to do research on the company's website to see if the role is showing still available.
Just because you apply to a position on a job board does not mean that it gets to the recruiter as they need to physically go out to each job board, unless they have it automatically filtering into their ATS, and pull the applications over. One corporate recruiter can have between 15-70 roles that they are recruiting for and also end up with several hundred applications.
One recruiter had mentioned that for one Senior Level Management role he had 700 applications to go through.
Some recruiters do physically go through the applications if they are 1 - maybe 3 pages although a recruiter told me that someone sent in a 20-page resume.

LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! You can’t be who you truly are on that app. Which is why I like fishbowl so much, the anonymity is a game changer. If LinkedIn was a anonymous, we’d see a lot more support for Kanye and a lot less LGBQT material. Bet!

Hi All
Anyone from marketing or product teams here. Looking for roles for Sr Manager and above.

Leaving my current job for a career pivot. Current job has been challenging to say the least and senior management never hears what others have to say. Employment is an at will state.
Senior leadership is so unforgiving that I fear by giving notice, I’ll be asked to leave and lose out on two weeks pay.
Thoughts and feedback on not giving notice or reducing the typical two weeks?
Thank you!
