I am working in a service based company and am currently 5 months pregnant. My HR and manager were informed earlier. I received a project release email today effective this month-end.

I’m planning to take maternity leave in Nov. If I remain on the bench for the next 3months and don’t get a project, can the company terminate my employment? I’m worried that projects may not onboard someone who will soon go on maternity leave.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any advice would be appreciated.
