One thing I liked and told people to do back when I worked as an HR role was to write thank you notes to send to the people who interviewed you. Hopefully you have specifics from what they said to make the note personal to your experience in the interview. I like this because it reminds them of you in the next two weeks before the others interviews. Just help to remind them why you are the right fit and why you have a passion for this next step.
Excellent reminder
Thanks
Whenever you're feeling anxious, just keep applying for jobs. Don't put all your eggs in this basket. If you stop applying in the hopes that you'll get it, it'll be an extra big blow if you don't. But you could also be lining up other interviews and opportunities in the meantime!
I hate the waiting game. All you can do is be patient and send good vibes. I really hope you got the role!
I understand the anxiety Ur in, am also waiting, I went for fingerprints on the 8th of January this year, am telling u I can't help but get worried, reading helps me a lot and please don't stop searching
Yes, look for another job maybe this is not the right job for you. Maybe there's another job right around the corner that fits you better.
Think about this too, what if you don't get the job you're waiting for ? Then what ? Time goes by and it's even longer that you'll wait to get a job.
Be real about it, maybe you'll find someone who values your qualities, maybe a higher paying job and better benefits. It's important to look for what you want and not what a potential employer who thinks that they can find someone better than you.
The main thing is don't put all you eggs in the same basket.
I was always taught that if you were the right candidate for the job they would have already hired you. Don't settle for being second fiddle, while they search for someone else, they think is better.
Great advice akin to working smarter vs: HARDER!!!

That waiting period is brutal because it’s completely out of your control. The only thing that helped me was keeping my routine exactly the same and acting like the answer was already weeks away. Easier said than done, but obsessively refreshing email just makes the time crawl.

This one job won’t be the end all be all. Continue to apply to other jobs, it’s a good (and productive) distraction to focus on other opportunities.
Continue to call for a follow up on your job status , it can give them the impression you can be a strong candidate.
Good luck
