Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Oh my gosh, that sounds incredible! I spent three months in Asia a couple of years ago and it was the best trip of my entire life. I hope you have the best time. My family and I are heading to the UK to visit relatives in a couple of weeks. I'm excited, but it's a headache dealing with all the logistics!

My husband and I signed up over a year ago to do some crazy biking adventure in Spain. I think we're biking almost 50 miles a day for a total of 1,000 miles. It's hilarious because our friends and family think that sounds like the worst vacation ever, but I couldn't be more excited. I've always wanted to visit Japan! Have you been before?

Wow, that biking adventure sounds intense but amazing! 50 miles a day for 1,000 miles is quite the challenge!! I heard Spain has some incredible cycling routes, like the Camino de Santiago and the Mediterranean coastal path. I haven’t been to Japan yet, so I am really excited for the trip!
Oh that sounds so fun!! It's my first summer not having any kind of trip planned in the while and it's definitely taking a toll having nothing to look forward. Well, I shouldn't say nothing.. my husband and I are expecting our first child this fall so we will be spending the whole summer prepping, and trying to avoid the summer heat! Have fun on your trip!!

I am right there with you. I feel like it was just the New Year and then bam, just like that we are nearly half way thru the year which is crazy to me. I am really jealous of the trip you have planned. We haven't planned anything yet but definitely taking a trip somewhere this summer.
