I cleared the first interview round. After the second round, I did not receive a call from HR. Upon inquiry through customer care, they said I cleared the second round and should wait for an HR call. Then, my application showed it was no longer under consideration, and HR is not answering calls. Before the second round, HR contacted me and said a new application would be created by the HR team; it was a system issue that my application status showed "no longer under consideration."

McKinsey referral system glitch?

I got a referral from an EM over a month ago. He says my candidate status showed "turned down" immediately following the submission. He suspects it was because the status from my previous application to McKinsey over 2 years ago got pulled into the system automatically. Till now I still haven't received the application link and no recruiter has been assigned. Kind of lost about what to do next.

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) Anything before that was grad school and I haven’t kept in contact with any professors from over five years ago. What should I do? 😕
