Yes, very sus. It could just be a process that they go through with all candidates, but a very odd one.
It's common if you don't meet the agency's profile, they ask for certain inputs to see if you can do the job as they want.
It has happened to me many times that they ask me for proof of my ability as a writer, I do the articles and all kinds of tests that are usually not paid, and then I don't receive any more messages from the employer, for me it is always a scam.
This type of employment system is common in agencies, it is the best way to test professionals.
What kind of documents are we talking about here? Work samples?
It's not entirely uncommon for employers to ask for some examples of your work. What specifically is making you feel sus about this?
Sometimes you just gotta trust your gut with these things. If you don't get a good vibe from this agency you can always look for a job somewhere lse
