I completed my BSc in Pre-Engineering and later did a Diploma in Civil Engineering, but every company I applied to wanted 5–7 years of experience. Then I switched to the Merchant Navy and completed the GP-III course, yet again most companies asked for experienced crew or huge fees I couldn’t afford. Now I’m at a stage where I’m unsure what to do next. Any advice or guidance would mean a lot.

I’m having trouble working in Tax. I’m overwhelmed and am feeling like I’m not producing my best work. I want to talk to someone at work about it but a) I don’t know who to go to and b) feel like it’s not worth it because there’s nothing that anyone can do but tell me to get a different job.
