I am a QA engineer in an edutech company. I have an experience of 7.5 years (manual testing- database, front end, mobile and api testing).

I want to move to a BA role. I have good communication skills and an analytical mind. Below are 3 of my biggest questions.

1. Is it too late to switch to a BA role?
2. What are the skills,tools or certifications required?

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. My partner and I are not big spenders and anticipate have enough to retire comfortably in 40s (obviously a lot can change). I have been assured I will become SM in next year (currently 31 years old).

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. I left my job without having anything else lined up otherwise I would have had a mental breakdown. I’m not even in that great of a financial place, but it was my job or my sanity.
