If managers read this please look at the sheer number of contractors at the company and especially in T@L. On my team contractors had nearly all the experience and technical expertise, while managers had no background in tech and couldn't even pronounce the names of technologies we used daily. Full time employees get decent, sometimes generous benefits and contractors are disposable and have no hope of promotion, raises, etc. The company culture is "cover your ass".
