How do you all meet people? I work 60 or more hours a week and travel around 70% of the year. I'm not really a tinder type person, but I'm about desperate enough to try anything these days.

Not sure how many on here can relate to this...does anyone else who was raised a Jehovah’s Witness ever find it extremely hard to date? Anytime I tell someone I grew up not celebrating Xmas or birthdays, I get looked at like I’m some sort of demon and relationships seem to magically fall apart out of thin air.

I'm currently a medical scribe with background in risk analytics and business development(switched from finance to medicine) and currently trying to get into a clinical trial assistant role. Last year, I had spoke to professionals who say I have the skills and experience to join, but due to my lack of clinical experience, I was unable to join. Now after a year, I have 8 months scribing experience in a hospital.

How do I leverage this experience to break in now?

I'm training for my first ultramarathon (50K). I'd like to train during the winter to build a base of strength and endurance, and budget six months to a trail race I'll find early next spring. Does anyone have experiences with trail ultra running, and have any books, podcasts, training plans, gear, races, or general advice to share?

Had a therapist who encouraged me to quit my job to be happy. Also encouraged me to not settle with my girlfriend because I’ll regret it (like how he regrets getting married). Ended up quitting my job and became more miserable, poor and suicidal. Haven’t seen my girlfriend due to long distance and COVID and we might break up soon. Did I just find a bad therapist or is it normal to project your own regrets to your patients?

Hey! I've always wanted to get into IB (prestige, money, you name it), however now that I'm in a more laid back environment (better WLB, "easier work") it doesn't seem as attractive as before and the pay is quite good for an analyst level (I think the pay is competitive even comparing with IB's pay in my country) . I wanted to know if anyone had the same experience and what were your thoughts (pursue an MBA and leave your comfort zone and "good pay" or just stick with it). TIA!
