I finally updated my LinkedIn profile and within 48 hours had three recruiters reach out with similar roles. None of them were posted anywhere. How much of your search is happening off the job boards.

Oh wow. Maybe that is what I should be doing. I haven't updated my Linked in for a long time because I hate using Linked in. I have never had any real results from it. I seem to have better results on Indeed.

LinkedIn is pretty good in recent years, most of the recruiters using LinkedIn.

A surprisingly large share—often 60–80% for experienced roles, happens off job boards through recruiters, referrals, and proactive outreach. Updating LinkedIn essentially puts you into that hidden market.
And if you’ve lost money to an online scam, don’t be silent, recovery is very possible. Don't be left out.

That’s a great result, your profile works really well!

The company has been made aware of the insured’s noncooperation but they have tell us they’re pulling coverage for us to withdraw.

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar.
