Is it normal for senior managers to ask you to cancel leaves or to nit apply leaves in EY GDS? My manager told in all hands meeting yesterday to not apply leaves during tear end. Won’t this become a hr issue?

Hi EY GDS Fishes - Need your thoughts on EY GDS joining with 30LPA (inclusive bonus) with Manager 1 position for 14+ YOE. Need to understand for this YOE, Manager 1 is the right fit or is there any chance to negotiate with HR for Manager 2 or 3 ? If not, what are the chances of progressing to 2 or 3 like mandate years to be in the same rank ? Holding other offers with Wipro, Nagarro & IGT with higher CTC than EY GDS...Is it good to accept offer from EYGDS considering WLB, Job security n Big 4..

What's the norm of calling your Managers/Counselors in EY GDS? I'm used to calling everyone by their first name in my previous organization, but here I'm seeing people calling managers and seniors managers "Sir".

The thing is I have just joined and pinged my counselor for certain queries, and used his first name and he never responds although he sees my message. 🤔

1. Rating is only applicable on variable pay
2. Hike % is independent of the rating
3. Hike depends on a lot of factors like your current salary, how is it comparable to the market or the level you are in, do you have a progression/promotion, etc
