Well, if you can make money while searching for a role, you might be able to turn this into a side hustle after you land a new job. So it sounds like a good idea. Just make sure you are networking and trying to get interviews as well. That takes up a lot of time. Good luck!
Yea, that’s sound logic. W-2 income is not as secure as it used to be. So building your own thing is absolutely a good use of time and resources.
My buddy did this. He left his management job and started a flooring company. He grosses 20-30k a month, occasionally more. Way more than you’ll ever make I. Corporate America unless you reach the C level.

You did the right thing by taking matters into your own hands. Having a job may be a form of security, but starting your own business is control over your destiny. Make sure the lawyer doesn’t overcharge you and ask for itemized receipts for expenses such as his base fees, each license fee, and corporate filing fees.
