I got offered this amazing position. They knew I was relocating for this job - it came up many times in finalizing the negotiations. I worked 18 days, dug in for 10 hour days, and today they LET ME GO! The owner told me that they decided to go in a “different direction,” that it wasn’t anything I did, but they can’t afford me. I reminded her that I relocated my family here just for this job and she just simply said I know. I’m in shock.

have a requirement to show an interactive scatter chart in Power Point from data stored in an Excel spreadsheet. Job transition question: I recently accepted an offer for a new role with Merrill Lynch, the following day I was fired from my previous employer. I haven’t filled out the updated work history background check info yet. The reason for termination was due to performance expectations not being met. Should I reach out to my new employer and let them know that I’ve been terminated? Should I just put the termination update on the background check form and leave it at that? Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it.
