have a requirement to show an interactive scatter chart in Power Point from data stored in an Excel spreadsheet. Power Point and Excel files need to be in the same folder on a local machine and usable without an internet connection. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar rewritten and, if yes, what was the approach and/or tools that you used?

I've researched using VBA but there are several examples and I'm wondering the most maintainable and user- friendly solution. Thx!

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. Any PPT productivity plug-in recs (solo license)? Used Templafy (loved it) at my last firm, but they apparently only do Corp subscriptions. Looking for a good, affordable one I can get expensed at my new firm that has no plug-in.

When you align objects, is there some way to “pin” down one object? Ex. I want to align object A to the center of object B, not the other way around.

My understanding is that it uses the larger object as the reference but wondering if you can swap that

Does anyone know how to avoid the line break when pasting text in PPT? Usually happens when working with tables, but ran into the issue with a text box today too. Annoying to go in and backspace each time.

Pasted a list from excel to PowerPoint however when I try to make them bullets, PowerPoint reads it as a group of text (only puts a bullet for the first line). Can manually delete and press enter for each line to get a bullet but curious if anyone has a quicker solution?

Quick Tip: Use smart art to quickly frame up a slide and then convert it into shapes. Saves a lot of time.
