I got package of 14lpa from publicis for devops engineer role for 4+ exp, but my ECTC is 13 and my current ctc is 6lpa. I initially accepted the offer because this is the first I got & serving notice, been into 2 startups & want to move to mnc. Based on my expertise in cloud, cicd, automation & all for my exp the compensation ranges from 15-19lpa for banglore. I've been looking other opportunities to make an counter offer with PS. How can I do that without any other offers or any other ways

How long a fresher required to be in the position of becoming a team leader or equivalent to that position, just want to know because here in Citi one need to spend at least 4-5 years in order to become a team leader.(considering his work and performance is among the top 3 every quarter)

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

My marriage is beyond repair I think. Husband just said we keep having the same conversations over and over in the past year about things we’ve been trying to fix. Is a year enough time? 11 years together for reference. And I don’t think his statement is true - he literally mentioned one of those things last week that he was happy about. I just can’t do it with these vague statements in arguments.

Just venting. My husband is so much into watching his tv show that he is not at all interested in planning the baby shower or even in making the registry. It just feels that I am doing everything right now and his priorities are just around watching his TV show. I get that he needs his me time but our baby shower is few weeks away and we have not sent out the invite yet, do not have the registry finalized (I cannot do it as he wants to be involved or will make changes over my selection).
