I graduated a year ago with a project management degree and took an entry‑level job. The operations manager never trained me, took away my project manager duties, and only gave me random tasks—then got upset whenever I asked questions. He has now decided to make someone else my manager but he micromanages me still. Thoughts?

He then texts me and says something along the lines of “yeah let’s do it” but doesn’t offer any concrete plan. Does this mean he’s not super into it? Or am I overreacting and I should initiate the plan? I initiated the insta follow and the dm so I feel like it’s his turn…?

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.
