Other Ivy's following Harvard's lead would be great but I doubt it will become universal any time soon, The trend could certainly influence other colleges to reassess their financial aid policies. And I think Princeton and Yale already has some "no-loan" policies.
I don't think it'll become the norm any time soon, unfortunately. It's a great move, but it seems like there's limited financial risk to Harvard since their acceptance standards are so high. It'd be a much different story if a Big Ten state school announced the same policy.
