I had a Zoom interview scheduled for today, but it was abruptly canceled an hour beforehand via an automated email that said the position was closed. I'm curious, is anyone else experiencing this kind of sudden ghosting recently?

it's not ghosting. you got a cancelation. ghosting would be is you would be waiting, waiting and waiting for that zoom that would never happen. and then wrought them about that and never hear anything back.

but yes, it is frustrating.

Ghosting is much worse. Cancelled is closure. Ghosting means you waste time and energy.

It happens they probably had a lot of people in the pipeline. If it was me I would’ve called you and told you that over the phone. I will also talk to you about other opportunities. But, some recruiters don’t have the time to do the extra stuff sometimes.

Most firms talk about attorney wellness without much follow through.
