My wife is a Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of experience as credit manager, underwriting loans with some leading banks in India. She just got her EAD and is looking for jobs, open to switch profiles as well. Do you think she would fit in for any role here in Seattle, WA? any insight into how a pmm skillset is different from a brand strategist one? of course the pmm applies insights to and influences the product, but it seems like a lot of the core elements - research, understanding the user, generating insights, developing messaging and angles to speak to them, etc are super similar. interested in transitioning and I want to understand where my gaps are!

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
