I had final interview with Bank of the West for a Sr.Analyst position in San Jose, and I got a verbal offer from hiring manager. But I have not had a discussion about salary! Their range in JD is from 75-170k. I have no idea how much should I start negotiating from. Maybe midpoint at 122k? Does anyone know compensation structure for Bank of the west? Including bonus and stock if any?

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.
