You'll get tips as both, and either one could be the one getting more depending on the vibe at your workplace. Some spots are restaurants that serve drinks, and others are bars that serve food. you know what I mean?
i much prefer working the bar, it's way more fun and nowhere near as exhausting as being a waiter, but the people do get a little much at times

I would take the job as a bartender. The tips are a big incentive, and I think it would be more fun to work behind the bar than serving food.

I'd go bartender if you're good with the hours. better tips and the job is usually more fun. However, if 4am nights don't appeal to you, working as a waiter might be better.
