I have 7 years of experience and currently work at LTIMindtree as a Senior Engineer in Cloud & Infrastructure Services. My current CTC is 7.75 LPA.

I’m looking for some career guidance from the community:

1. I know am underpaid for my experience and role.
2. I’ve been trying to switch jobs but am struggling to get interview calls.
3. Many recruiters reject my profile because of the 90-day notice period. How do people usually handle this situation?
4. What CTC range can I realistically expect?

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. I was confident in my now manager, who told me directly this will become a permanent role. However, i’m nervous about where the economy is going to be within the next year, and after getting a few linked in messages to interview for full time positions, I’m starting to second guess myself. I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.
