Is SAP not tech? You mean FANG? SAP pays plenty well and you can make a very good living. “Maximum salary” is difficult because there are so many ways to make money in SAP. You could be a seasoned partner leading a large SAP practice at one of the consultancies pulling in well north of 7 figures. You could be doing SAP sales and making multiple 6 figure sales bonuses. Directors / Managers in the big consultancies are going to get $200k-$400k comp packages all in. If you are in industry particularly at a large F100 SAP shops the leaders of those organizations are going to be $200-$300 plus equity packages with their individual companies. At the individual contributor level, independent consultants can do pretty well for themselves with the right experiences and contracts - those that are good have no problem staying contracted for year+ engagements and can command $150/hr plus
Work hard and climb the ranks. I’m an SAP guy and an MD. My total comp is higher than the previous posters estimates.
