Hey everyone, I’m in IT Audit and starting to think about switching things up. Does anyone have any advise or recommendations (certifications, best way to network while WFH, etc) that could help me make the jump to IT M&A?
Catching up on GOT. Work from home perks 👍🏼
During WFH I grew my hair, just took vacation and got twists in that time. Anybody on hear rocking twists to work and what are the attitudes towards it. I am considering going full dread locks.
Hi moms! How do you correct the nanny? I work from home so don’t want to come across as micro managing (cont).
WFH lunch beers are the best beers
Going on a parental leave in a month. Anyone know of any remote, freelance/part time I can do to still make money on the side? Out side of Uber/Lyft etc
Has anyone’s firm who has been back in the office announced anything about going back to wfh because of Covid cases spiking / new variant?
I need recommendations for nice maternity work pants. My office is WFH but I occasionally need to go in. I’m 16 weeks (first pregnancy) and today realized in a panic when I attempted to get dressed that my work pants are either too tight in the waist to wear or getting there. I’m tall (5’10”) and usually wear Theory, Rag and Bone or J. Crew work pants. Any suggestions for nice black maternity pants that I could pair with a blouse or blazer? Thx!!
As a new associate, I really feel like WFH plus starting in January has really hindered my development. There’s so much basic stuff I still don’t know. SALY only gets you so far.
I need a side job that I can work evenings and/or weekends that can generate at least $1000 extra dollars a month. I was thinking real estate but I know nothing about it… then I thought bartending but again, I know nothing about it… I don’t want to spend more than 20 hours per week working this side job and if it is remote AND contract, that would be great. Any advice?
If you know of any companies that are fully remote and flexible please drop them down below. I am looking for a company that will allow me to work remotely no matter where I live.
Currently working at FAANG as a cloud program manager. Due to events out of my control, I have to start earning more to support my family. Any recommendations for part time remote jobs?
My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
So now that we’re WFH my workouts and subsequent showers are at random times in the middle of the day. Should I be doing my full skincare routine in the morning or after my midday shower?!

Part time MBA from Columbia or an M7 FT program? I'd be coming back to my firm, already in a post-MBA role, and don't need the recruiting opportunities that come with FT programs.
Been @ EY a month (frm PWC) as a sr. D wants to bring me in as a M (random LinkedIn post). What salary range should I expect? I said I need 150-175k. Realistic for 7yrs, 4yr consulting non target MBA?
Anyone successfully negotiate compensation at firm that officially doesn’t allow for origination credit? Have brought in small clients in the past but this one is a big one and huge for the group and the firm. I’m not exactly doing this out of the goodness of my heart so would appreciate any advice on how to navigate the conversation. For reference, client specifically brought their work to my group so that they could work with me and it’s a personal contact of mine.
I recently accepted an offer at ey as an intern and was curious about their tattoo/earring policy. I know a lot of company’s still have their old fashioned ways but some are starting to be accepting. I have earrings in both ears that can be taken out and a few tattoos but nothing visible with suit and tie. Any advice ??
