What should be the stipend for an intern (compiler engineer) in Bangalore ?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

Earlier this year I was making $75k as an FA and now $90k as an SFA in OC which is pretty much market value (4yrs exp - 2 in B4). I wanted that raise to $90k for a while and now that I have it, I catch myself thinking about wanting more & more money, even though I have more than enough to live out my means. I am a software sales representative in the manufacturing space. My starting salary was $85,000 in 2015 I did not receive a raise until I asked for one three years later in 2018. The raise was 5%.
