I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

That guy in Billions went to Fordham
Fordham places well in NYC big law considering it’s not T14, but that’s really only bc it’s in NY. Other regional schools won’t have as much clout.
OP - I’m not saying don’t apply, just replying to the Fordham comment. Definitely apply and don’t hold yourself back.
With that attitude, don't waste your time.
You sound fun.
Unclear what you mean by top-tier, but obviously AUSA spots in EDNY and SDNY are extremely competitive. The people I see get these jobs nowadays are largely the top-10 school, magna people with competitive clerkships at well known litigation/enforcement shops. Unless you have a “hook” like extensive and high-level trial experience, a possible personal connection with someone in the office, or work at another prestigious government agency, it might be an uphill battle. All that said, you should absolutely apply if it’s something you want to do. Always worth a shot.
Thanks, appreciate the advice!
