I have.asked for EPF details and UAN number and other documents like BGV, IRF etc and a lady called me and told me that she will release the offer by Tommorow, but now she is not responding to mail and calls either. Does it mean I'm selected and how soon I can get offer letter.

So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. I decided to leave for the role Im in now.. my old countered to keep me at 115k (which was like pulling teeth for them) but I left anyways now I find out that they offered a 7th year 150 k and a partner title should I be offended that they didn’t even try more with me

Just recently learned the difference between an TR and Roth IRA 😓 I have started to contribute $$ in my 401K. I am 27 and only have like $15K in my Vanguard account feel like I am so behind. Can someone recommend good resource/advise to learn the basics?

I'm moving my firm to a non hourly model. I want to encourage efficiency and discourage the work your life away model.

For litgation we're thinking past pleadings and MTDS then X, Discovery than Y, SMJ motions then Z trial then Q.

What are your thoughts on this ? What are my issues here. I think the hardest one is to predict discovery. But I also think we can outsource some of this to cheeper labor and lean on our tech to not actually have to review everything.

MBB folks on H1-B who recently switched to FAANG - did you run into any issues with visa transfer? My transfer has been filed and I’m a bit nervous about USCIS’ perception of consultants and the current sentiment around H1-B visas.

I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. I hope to break into banking next summer, and I’m interested in the Natural Resources, Industrials, and Real Estate industry groups. Any advice on what to do? Thanks!
