I have been applying for jobs for over a year now. I currently work in education. I just want to find a job that is better in pay. Since I have been employed, I have not had a promotion. I have applied myself, trained other clerical staff, do more and blah blah blah. I did not realize that the job market is difficult. More than fifteen years ago, seems as though it was so much easier to get a job and or get a promotion. So good luck to anyone who is looking for something better.

I’m having a super hard time finding a job in pharma R&D, all the jobs available seem to be analytical - I have 4 years experience working in a lab (3yrs at a CRO & 1yr working as an associate scientist on a drug product development team). I got an offer for a senior research associate ($60k) but I currently am an associate scientist in MD making $75k. Do R&D pharma jobs exist in the Denver/Boulder area? Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I ended cutting my hand on an exacto knife and there was no first aid! Is this normal?
