I have been reading a lot about using AI in the job search and came across an article that said that you should never upload a resume as a PDF, that Word format is better for ATS parsing. Recruiters and people who really know their way around ATS parsing, is this actually true? because I believe that my resume is well aligned when uploaded in pdf.
