I wouldn't jump the gun too quickly on moving to a different job. At every job you go to you will find coworkers who disagree with your style and/or vice versa. I think it's worth trying to compromise and work together with this vet for at least a year and see if things get better. You never know what you might learn from someone very different than you
Like the above said give it some time, you never know what you learn or that it may grow on you. I have worked with others that gave me a negative perception and ended up becoming best friends with.
It can be really difficult to continue in a job when the person you're assigned to isn't a great fit. I'd suggest having an honest, respectful conversation with your veterinarian first to see if there's any potential to adjust the dynamic between you two. If that doesn't work, it's probably best to start looking for a new job. I learned this the hard way; I had a similar situation in the past and it was difficult to keep working in an environment where the person I was assigned to didn't fit my style.
I have a slightly different perspective because I stuck out a bad vet fit for too long and I was miserable for like 2 years of my life. So I think maybe it's worth a conversation, but I wouldn't waste too much time if you just know it's a bad fit. Get out and get experience with someone you jive better with!
Do you feel like the problems can be resolved? I would try to talk it out first and no matter what secure a new job first before leaving your current one
