I have some students who always finish things early. I don't want to make them just do extra work to fill in time because I feel like it is a waste of time. I let them help other students if they want, but the other students ts are too distracted be the extra noice this causes. The same goes with games, I don't want them to just play games because the other students want to start playing. What do you have your fast-finishers do to keep them from being a distraction?

Maybe have a project that students work on through the quarter or year that is in class only. You divide it into parts and they can earn a set number of extra credit for each part they complete successfully. So, maybe the project is to start a new business. They could
1. identifying a need, & developing a product or service,
2. Develop basic marketing strategies, uniform, a logo, a sign design and tag line. They might also create a commercial.
3. Determine pricing based on cost analysis and what a customer might be willing to pay based on similar items.
4. Develop an approximate monthly budget for the business. Cost of supplies, licenses. equipment, marketing, employees, etc.
5. understanding the customer and anticipating what kind of training your employees might need to assist and keep your customers returning. ( basic training manual)
You get the idea. Developing this would take some upfront time (less with AI) but then you’d have it for future years.

In a business class, why don’t they work on their typing skills? It’s insane how poorly they type when they are on a computer/phone constantly!

In the past I’ve used keybr.com as a bell ringer for my Desktop Publishing classes and students often doubled their speed in a month.

Some of my peddlers get upset that the fast finishers get to work on "more fun" projects. I always tell them that all they have to do is finish their work and they can take part in the "fast finish" projects

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Thank you in advance!!
