I interviewed yesterday morning and turns out, I know the mgr and assistant mgr from a previous job I had 3 years ago. I'm over qualified but they need someone reliable and don't have to babysit. I was worried about the pay and they knew that but called yesterday afternoon and left a voicemail saying, "the numbers work" so let's get this baby rolling. (I didn't word it that way of course). Today, after hearing nothing back, I called again and left another message. Getting worried now-what to do?

Was your main communication just over the phone? Seems we’re in different industries but most job comms these days are email first and phone/video for interviews. Most people I know don’t check their work voicemails often so maybe send an email

Other thing is it was a holiday for some and some also took a day off today. Might just be that not all the hiring stakeholders are present to give it the go and they might still be interviewing other candidates. Good luck 👍

So, I landed a Customer Service Advisor job at Sitel in the UK. But I heard that they fire you without any prior notice or end their campaigns abruptly, leaving us with no job. Can’t be facing the risk of no livelihood, right? Can anyone who worked with Sitel give me the real truth? And does Sitel sponsor Tier 2 Visas as such? I am surely looking for stability, security and growth.

If an otherwise good interview the interviewer says: “I think you have great experience that will help you wherever you go”. Should I be reading into this?

Hi! I’m at my first bdr role in tech, the company is small and I think daily kpi are a bit hard. What do you think about 100 e-mails, 25 conversations on the phone (not calls, conversation), 30 connection on LinkedIn, 30 messages on LinkedIn? What are usually kpi in companies like salesforce for example?
Thanks

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. As an engineer with a functional knowledge (but no former training) in IT and data analytics, what are the best avenues to get to 200k without changing fields and starting at an entry level position (or moving to a HCOL area)?
