I joined IBM ISDL 2 months ago, and the current project is very different from what was promised during hiring. There is also a lot of micromanagement from the manager and a senior member.
I’m planning to resign without another offer and would prefer to serve the full 3-month notice period to get enough time to search for a new opportunity. Will the company allow me to serve the complete notice period, or can they release me immediately? Has anyone faced a similar situation at IBM ISDL?

2) Will there be induction? if yes will it be online or offline? How long is the induction?

3) What all WFH claims are still available?

4) What all extra benefits can one claim?

5) On an average how much hike can one expect?

Is there an appropriate way to turn down an assignment because it is non-billable? Two of the partners I work for keep asking me to write client bulletins and articles with them, which is great, but now I’m starting to worry about meeting my billable hours requirement.

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?
